Fresno CDFI Receives CDFI Fund Certification
Fresno CDFI is now a CERTIFIED Community Development Financial Institution, according to information received from U.S Treasury's CDFI Fund. This certification is a requirement for accessing financial and technical assistance from the federal government. This designation will allow us to greatly expand our reach and impact in the community.

A certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) is a specialized financial institution that works in market niches that are underserved by traditional financial institutions. CDFIs provide a unique range of financial products and services in economically distressed target markets.
Small Business Development Day
 Join Fresno CDFI Staff at the Inaugural Small Business Development Day hosted by the City of Fresno and its partners. This event will provide business owners with free workshops, training, and technical assistance they need to grow and succeed in today's economy.
Fresno CDFI will be hosting a Microbusiness Development & Finance workshop at 10:30am and 3:00pm.

 IDA ProgramOur savings matching program, "Individual Development Account (IDA)" - can help you build assets toward your farm or farming career. Contact our office today to see if you qualify.
Qualifying participants receive $2 for every $1 they save. These funds can be used toward:
1. Purchase of First Home
2. Start, Strengthen, or Expand Your Small Business (This includes capital, plant, equipment, working capital, and inventory expenses to capitalize a legal business with an approved business plan.)
3. Pay for Post-Secondary Education Expenses (i.e. books, tuition and other related expenses), or
4. Vehicle for Business Use.
